HEARTLANDS EDUCATION CENTRE CAR PARK
Enter via the hospital main entrance at Bordesley Green East stopping at the barrier (even if the barrier is raised) opposite the Princess of Wales Women’s Unit.
Mention to Sureway Parking that you are attending a meeting/course and require access to the Education Centre Car Park. The barrier will rise.
Drive Straight Ahead to a further barrier which will be raised by Sureway allowing access to the rear hospital roadway.
Continue until you reach the EDUCATION CENTRE (LARGE RED ROOFED BUILDING) on your RIGHT
Turn LEFT opposite the Centre then Sharp Left Again to EDUCATION CENTRE BARRIER (IGNORE THE DISPLAYED `FULL’ SIGN)
Speaking into voice box on barrier state which meeting/course you are attending – barrier will be raised by Centre Receptionist
ACCESS TO THE EDUCATION CENTRE FROM THE CAR PARK is via the MAIN HOSPITAL CORRIDOR(to the LEFT of the Centre) approx 200yards on your RIGHT
NB Spaces are limited in the car park and therefore we cannot guarantee parking. Parking is at owner’s risk

The closest mainline station is Newcastle Central Station. The Tyne & Wear Metro system can be accessed from Central Station and the closest Metro Station to the RVI is Haymarket which is approximately a 5-10 minute walk.
Royal Victoria Infirmary is served by several bus routes: 15, 16 32, 50. All these buses stop on Richardson Road just outside the hospital grounds. Bus information The Royal Hallamshire is served by the 60, 120 and 10 bus services, which stop close to the main hospital buildings.
The Jessop Wing is also served by these services, but in addition is served by the 51, 52 and 95, which stop outside Weston Park Hospital. Both are a 5 minute walk away from the Jessop Wing.
Road information The Royal Hallamshire Hospital is situated close to the city centre and is accessible from the Sheffield Parkway (ring road). The hospital is easy to access by road with good local transport links.

Local direction The Royal Hallamshire is part of the central campus of hospitals which is well signposted as ‘central hospitals’ from all approaches.
The hospital tower block can be seen for miles around Sheffield.
Sheffield station is 2 miles from the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Jessop Wing. The station is connected to the Sheffield Supertram and is linked to Sheffield Interchange by a short covered walkway. Visitors travelling by rail can catch the 60, 120 and 10 bus services from Sheffield Interchange. Please visit www.nationalrail.co.uk for timetable and ticket information.
There is a multi storey car park at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, which is 5 minutes walk from the Jessop Wing. Parking is limited and we therefore advise that you leave plenty of time before your appointment to find a parking space.
Parking at the Jessop Wing is also very limited.

The nearest stations are:

Borough – Northern line (15 minutes’ walk).
London Bridge is the nearest railway station and is five minutes’ walk. The new concourse to London Bridge station has opened to passengers with a new entrance on St Thomas Street.

17, 21, 35, 40, 43, 47, 48, 133, 141, 149, 343, 381, 521, 701, RV1, C10.
Night buses stop at or near London Bridge: N21, N35, N47, N133, N343 and N381.
Please note that there are no buses stopping along St Thomas Street.
Guy’s Hospital is located in the Congestion Charging zone and parking is very limited. Please use public transport whenever possible.
